You are approved...
for a loan, for a credit card, for a mate, for a job, whatever you want approval for, those are beautiful words. Although there is a meekness implied, meaning you are at the mercy of whoever you need to approve you, there is a sweetness in being approved by that person or thing. I heard a commercial today talking about how a certain company would always approve a person, regardless of his credit. Sound familiar? How many of us have good credit with God? What can we do that gives us good credit with God? Do we really have that power? We are at the mercy of a God, who thankfully, loves us unconditionally and is always willing to approve of us, regardless of our credit. Isn't that a beautiful thing? Who do we think needs our approval? Are we being as merciful to them as God is to us? We do NOTHING worth of God's approval. No matter what good we do, we do bad, and if it were not for God, we would have no hope of being saved. Just wanted to be grateful for God's mercy today. God is beautiful and always approves, despite our credit.

"How great the Father's love for us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!" I John 3
Thank you for the reminder of the incredible mercy of our God!
Love you,
Aunt Jina
i appreciate your blog...I will write you an email and tell you why...
AMEN!
That will preach, Kristi! Thanks for reminding us of God's mercy.
Amen, sister! His mercy endures forever!! Because he shows us such "approval" or mercy, we need to look for ways to demonstrate that to others.
My prayer today:
God, thank you for the mercy you give to us every day! We see your mercy in the creation, in our relationships, and so many other ways.
Please open our eyes to see people around us as you see them! Give us tender hearts that are moved into action to show others your grace and mercy that is so abundant in our own lives.
Ah yes, mercy...how sweet it is. It does move us to action to show mercy more often. To judge less, to thank more, to accept and love without question. God really knows what He's doing! I appreciate your thoughts. I love you. Aunt Kathy
You fill my cup for today! Thank you for those precious words which speak of God's mercy. Oh, how we NEED to mimic His example through His Son. Our mercy towards others is more for US than THEM, but we ALL benefit. Yea!
Love you,
Mamaw
